“Stamp of Approval”
Coming downstairs after her morning shower, Renee found her husband Mike in the kitchen with a mischievous grin and hiding something behind his back. “What are you doing?” she asked.
In reply, he took his hand from behind his back and showed her a little box tied shut with a ribbon.
Renee groaned. “We swore no gifts for Valentine’s Day to-”
“-to save money for the coming Trump recession,” Mike finished. “I know, I know. But this wasn’t that expensive, and I knew you’d love it.”
After glaring at him for a few seconds, Renee smiled. “It’s good you’re cute.”
Opening the box, she found another box with “Personalized stamps!” and a web address on the top of it. Puzzled, she looked at Mike.
Taking the box from her, Mike explained, “There’s this guy, he 3D prints stampers for people to stamp twenty dollar bills or whatever.”
Stuck to the refrigerator was a rarely used “Grocery List” pad of paper and Mike ripped off a sheet and set it on the counter. Inside the box there was a blue stamper as well as an ink pad. Mike pressed the stamper in the ink pad, then handed it to Renee. “Stamp the page and see what it says.”
After a slight pause, Renee stamped the page. Moving her hand out of the way, she saw the phrase, “Donald Trump belongs in prison.” on the page in deep blue ink.
She set the stamper down, then gave Mike a long hug and kiss. Breaking apart she said, “I know someone getting Special sex tonight.”
