Size Doesn’t Matter


Winter had moved in like an annoying neighbor, and Jason had had enough. He stood in his front yard, his thin, unbuttoned coat offering no resistance to the bitter cold. Facing the wind, he threw his arms wide and his head back. Baring his teeth he began to growl. The growl turned into a snarl, which turned into a roar challenging Mother Nature, “Is that all you’ve got?”

A gust of wind slammed a single snowflake into his left eye.

“Oww,” Jason blinked several times. Grumbling his defeat, he went back inside.
